CHEMISTRY LECTURE/LABORATORY CHANGE REQUEST FORM

 VALID REASONS FOR ASSISTED REGISTRATION CHANGE:

• EMPLOYMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: You need to have written documentation from your employer, on company stationery, outlining your work schedule
• VARSITY ATHLETIC COMMITMENTS: You must have a letter from your coach, stating dates and times of commitments
• A CONFLICT BETWEEN A CHEMISTRY COURSE AND A REQUIRED COURSE FOR YOUR DEGREE PROGRAM: We will consider your request if space is available; however, we are unable to guarantee placement into a different section
• UNABLE TO CHANGE DUE TO GENERIC TRANSFER CREDIT OR PRIOR DEGREE STANDING AND THUS FAIL THE PREQUISITE CONTROLS WHICH REQUIRED THAT YOU WERE FORCE-REGISTERED INTO THE CURRENT SECTION: We will consider your request if space is available; however, we are unable to guarantee placement into a different section

 INVALID REASONS FOR ASSISTED REGISTRATION CHANGE:

• WANTING TO BE IN THE SAME SECTION AS A FRIEND: If you want to be in the same section as a friend, you will have to arrange that yourself online, subject to available space in the section
• INSTRUCTOR PREFERENCES: All Chemistry instructors are qualified. If you want a specific instructor, you will have to arrange that online, subject to available space in the section. Please note: registration into full or restricted sections are handled centrally and not by instructors.
• PERFORM BETTER IN AN AFTERNOON VERSUS MORNING CLASS OR VICE VERSA DUE TO YOUR ACADEMIC LEARNING STYLE OR PREFERENCE: All Chemistry instructors are qualified. They are available to assist students during office hours with individualized help or may recommend additional resources for learning support
• WANTING A DAY OFF OR OPTIMIZED SCHEDULE: If the reason you want a change your schedule is because the section suits your schedule better, you will have to keep trying online to re-arrange your schedule, subject to available space.

• YOUR REQUEST WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNLESS ALL REQUESTED INFORMATION IS PROVIDED.
